	The Hearth of Lake Como is a free consortium of commercial and tourist operators based in the central area of the lake. It is an association of enterprises, but above all indivuduals who love their land, their lake and their work providing hospitality. A group of persons who welcome others: the thousands of visitors who decide to spend their holidays in this part of the lake every year and often choose to come back. With a view to making our visitors' holidays even more interesting, amusing and worthwhile, we have pooled our resources to create this network of information on all the tourist opportunities our towns can offer. For the first time this year all the towns in the Centre of the Lake will be linked by a network of updated and detailed information on the events in each town throughout the tourist season. Each resort will have access to a much broader range of attractions to offer its own visitors, thereby turning the central zone of the lake into one large, single, integrated tourism system, while tourists will not lose the advantages of staying in small, welcoming villages of a manageable size. For the first time this year hotels, restaurants, bar and shops, as well as many other business concerns will display posters giving information about the activities, events and opportunities for visits and entertainment in the Central area of the lake.
